Kxigor,
Is there any possibility of making a video for how the side racks are installed? The directions from SW looks easy, except for the tail section because it seems you have to move the blinks back and other things. This is the part that is confusing me very much. Any way you could help me out?

hey kxigor,
i just have one question for clarity-
do the plx racks mount perfectly with the sw-motech top rack?
from your video, it looks like it does, which means i shall do the same shortly!
nice set-up man!

@KatoomDriver17 The PLX racks from Givi WILL NOT mount with the SW-Motech toprack. You will need to buy PLX sideracks from SW-Motech as well as the toprack. Hope that makes sense. Thanks, John

Found this vid while looking for different luggage setups... particularly with Motech components. I've got two questions. First, what plate did you mount to the bottom of the "crate"? It appears to mate with the Motech quick lock top "rack". Second, what adapter did you use for that "Pelican" type case? Does it use the Givi mounting system or something different? Thanks.

@bgrffdave The adapters I used are made for the Trax topcase but they can easily be used to mount just about anything.
They come with hardware specific for the Trax box that I didn't need. Just bolt anything you like up to the plastic adapter plate. I needed to drill some extra holes into the bottom of my home-made topbox to give me access to the 1/4-turn quick release screws.

Hi,
Are the SW-Motech rear top rack handles OK for the passenger ?

@belegur666 The handles on the SW-Motech are not quite as comfy as the original kawasaki units because they are just plain steel tubing but they are perfectly fine.
