Michael Bishop Injured!! (July 12, '07)

Toronto Argonauts quarterback Michael Bishop suffers an injury in a CFL game against the Calgary Stampeders @ Rogers Centre!

On a QB bootleg, Bishop scampers towards the Stampeders' goal line, but is tackled around the one-yard line where he injures the wrist area of his right throwing arm!

Bishop quickly runs towards the dressing room knowing that something is wrong, but not before the Argos' training staff intercept him to examine the injury! Head coach Mike "Pinball" Clemons soon comes over to check on his QB!

As Bishop heads to the dressing room (& subsequently the local hospital), Mike McMahon takes over as the Argos' QB!

*Update*

It turns out that Bishop suffered a fracture to the distal radius (aka a fractured wrist), and would be out of commission for about 6-8 weeks! :o(
