السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته
Many people struggle to get married as they can't seem to find the right person, but just imagine you've found that ideal someone and the only thing stopping you from taking that step is the financial means...
Ummah Welfare Trust (UWT) provides a Wedding Sponsorship program specifically for such individuals located in deprived countries.
With the permission of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala the Blessed Brides team, a non-profit organisation founded in 2009 which recycles bridal outfits by donating them to the needy, wishes to assist UWT in sponsoring 50 Weddings; and we require your help!
OUR AIM: To raise £10,000 inshaAllah which will fund 50 weddings - a full wedding therefore costing just £200. This price not only covers the cost of the wedding alone but UWT provide the newlyweds with 60 household necessities which will help set them up for married life inshaAllah.
"And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to their Lord -- It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip (others) therein." [Interpretation of the meaning: Quraan - 23: 60-61].
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala loves the as-Saabiqoon (the forerunners); those that rush to perform good and abstain from evil. There are many examples in our Seerah of the Sahaaba (radiyAllahu anhum) and other Muslims competing to perform good deeds, trying to outdo one another for the pleasure of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. We hope to encourage that competitiveness and foster that zeal amongst our brothers and sisters', with the intention to emulate the pious predecessors.
We need your financial assistance to make this campaign a success, are you willing to be at the forefront?
HOW YOU CAN HELP: We understand that not everyone can afford to sponsor a full wedding; therefore we request you to contribute whatever is within your means. May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala accept it from us, ameen! Please share this link with all your contacts, FB, YouTube and Twitter pages.
