Brett with his [502 Infantry Reg.,2nd Battalion,2nd brigade,HHC]'Band of Brothers' at various 101st Airborne designated locations in Iraq ... with every locale transition -- the 101st was moving from a position of 'Liberator' to 'Peacekeeper' .... Prayerfully, their story will continue to reflect the highest ideals employed by the young 'Patriots' [like Brett] who are literally 'Called to Serve' GOD & Country -- and 'DO', so impeccably!
My son is in this video, I know how much Brett meant to him, and I am so glad that Brett is here for the world to see, never to be forgotten. I know not a day goes by that I don't think of him, and his service, and his great sacrifice. My son is with him in that video, and was one of his closest friends. I see the sadness and respect he has for Brett, and this is one family who will never forget him. thank you for the post.

I met Brett when he first came to the 2/502 and worked with him in the S3 shop until he went to support platoon. I spoke to him whenever we'd run into each other while in country. I was very upset to hear that he had passed. If you would accept my condolences I'd be grateful.

Yes, our world changed that sunny July day. Even as we have moved on physically, our hearts always remain part of the Strike Force. C1-6 Romeo.
