The only thing I would add to this video, is any wall of length. Say more than 25'.
I would personally suggest using a transit or laser to check elevation. I don't care
how good you are with a level you will be off. I actually use laser for front/back/sidetoside.

@javime99 99% of all engineered walls I've done was discharged every 50 ft.
And you do so out the face of the block.

If the drainage pipe is installed at the lowest block, how and where do you discharge the water accumulated?

Very true - a deadblow hammer (which is a hard plastic hammer, essentially) works great for this application. Very careful use of a steel sledgehammer is okay, too, but there's an increased chance to break the block.
