PCT HIKE in Oregon fro hwy 62 to hwy 140 I did solo for a total of 55 miles turned out to be more like 75 miles. Big OOOPS. I took the weekend to hike a section of the PCT and wound up lost, twice. Most signs are for people going north so when you travel south, pay extra attention. I will write more about the trip soon.

Just fyi. Those tracks you saw are dog tracks not cat tracks. Felines have retracted claws and you'll notice the claw marks on those footprints. Definetely Canine, and I'd say grey wolf for the area you were in.
