We get a lot of emails. Some people feel helpless to fix their town. We can't do much about it because we don't live there and don't want to. But we got some pics of the actors. We didn't stay there, and for the most part we are glad we didn't. But Bill and Rick have some pics.

I just really want to thank you for bringing to light and exposing what is just a really a taste of what is going on around here. You to me are more of a godly person than any of these people around here putting themselves on pedistols. I pray that what you are doing brings about the change that needs to take place so I a helpless single mom can feel safe bringing my son up in such a communist place such as this. Thank you keep fighting the good fight because people like me cant.

I don't blame you for not wanting to come back to our town. I'm proud of my town but the people in it is a different story. Sure there are a few good people here but the others who can't get out, get an education have nothing else to do but degrade people who they don't even know personally. Half the people here have no life and think that they're on top of the world. It's all about who you are in this town and if you don't have the last name then you're a piece of shit.

Chilhowie has been my home since I was a child and I wouldnt have it any other way. The town is a great place to raise children and have real-estate. Our small size allows for a comfortable home-town atmosphere for all of our citizens. Visitors are made to feel right at home whether theyre here for an extended stay of just passing through. The people here are one big happy family, at least most days of the week, and we pride ourselves on our devotion to the future generations of the town."

Hey there. I'm from Chilhowie, lived here 33 years and I'd like to comment on your video. First, I'd like to say I'm so sorry they treated you that way. You pretty much nailed it, as far as the "upper-class" Chilhowian goes. However, the rest of us are pretty good people. I know that if me or any of my friends had known you were coming, we'd have put you up, no problem! Anyway, I just wanted to say how embarrased & sorry I am & to say THANK YOU for telling 'em how it is!!!

Thank the Lord I moved the hell away from there!!! I wish I could have raised my kids somewhere else. Chilhowie is NOT a good place to raise kids and I pray that my grown kids will finally decide to leave there before my grandkids are influanced by the corruption. I lived there for over 15 years and have talked to many people that have lived there their whole lives and say the town is turning into a crap hole.

thank you it pleases me to see what has happened there i did live there till oct. last year and the only thing i can say is the whole Smyth County police dept town and county needs to be investigated for drug usage and sex offenses citizens cant get away with it so why can the law enforcement do it they can because they have some kind of protection i dont know how high the protection goes but it must be up there i hope they all get their lives flushed just as they flush others lives

i retract my earlier statement about "minus the cussing" you really know what you are talking about when it comes to this hypacritical town, i believe the requirements for a police officer there is a 3rd grade education, or at least know where the only red light is located at, once again, i hate you had that experience, if you would have been thru san antonio i would have pleaded with you to park your horse & bus at our house, Be safe my friend..
