  • Being from Detroit, I enjoyed the video, except that you forgot Lance Parrish (BEST catcher in his pose), Mark Fidrych, and many others of the 1984 Tigers - you could have easily left out Jack Morris and NOBODY WOULD HAVE CARED - either way, nice video, hope that we have more to come - GO TIGERS!!!

  • Yes crazy I know I left outm any Tiger greats and favorites. I just cant make a video that long of stills... I just tried to conentrate on hall of famers and potential hall of famers.. I am collevtig alot of video to make a '07 video.. I'll be sure to get the bird and Lance in for ya

  • I get a tear in my eye thinking that the corner, of michigan and trumball is now gone. Where these greats played the game. Shame on you city council and mayor of Detroit for letting this happen. You destroyed a national landmark, for what? for what?

  • Nice Work! It made me feel proud again!

  • Ball Day, Bat Day, and Cap Day. Took a lot of those home. Remember everyone pounding the bats on the ground. Watched the games from the box seats. Saw Denny McLain pitch from the outfield. He was a maniac. Can't find any videos of it now, only memories.

  • Nice work, but how could you leave out Bill Freehan? All-Star catcher for umpteen years, several Gold Gloves and who belongs in the Hall of Fame? He holds or held darn near every record worth having.

  • I remember when the Tigers had Wert at 3rd, McAuliffe at SS, Wood at 2nd, and Cash at 1st. The outfield had Demeter in LF, Bruton in CF, and Kaline in RF. The catcher was Freehan. I saw a lot of games at the corner of Mich. and Trumbell; in person and thru the eyes of Mr. Harwell on my transistor radio. I sat in the RF upper deck on Aug. 2, 1970 for a double header (remember those?) with the Twins. Killebrew hit 2 out but no one cared. It was Al Kaline day at Tiger Stadium. Love my Tigers!

  • Tigers are a part of my heart until the day I die!!!!!!

  • Nice - everyone can pick out players that you left out - Bill Freehan, Lance Parrish, Willie Hernadez, Ron Leflore, Bobby Higginson - but you did a good job. With any luck (fingers crossed!) you can another one for 2011! Thanks for sharing!

  • TIGERS

  • i LOVE the tigers and i don't care what happens if they get to play than thats good enough for me

  • I miss Pudge!

  • ....Gold -Glove, clutch-hitting catcher & likewise outfielder Jim Northrup: "The Slammer" who was so important, offensively & defensively, to the great '68 championship team.

  • Nice shots. I like it & everyone you included, but we shouldn't forget someone like the great Harry Heilmann, an HOF outfielder & batting champion from the 20's who once hit .401 & finished with a lifetime BA of .341.

He was also an outstanding broadcaster of Tiger Baseball for many years before the days of Mr. Harwell. Also Wahoo Sam Crawford, Bobby Veach, Tommy Bridges, Goose Goslin, Bill Freehan (the perennial all-star, G
