Que película tan maravillosa e increible. La verdad que cuando la vi, sentía ganas de llorar al ver tanta guerra, destrucción, muertes, la separación del pobre niño de sus padres. Una película que refleja lo cuan dura y atroz fueron las guerras en todo su apogeo y ésta película de guerra ha sido una de las mejores que he visto, ojala hicieran más como ésta.

This movie has to be one of the best films ever made about war. I couldn't bring myself to watch it again after I saw it - it was just so powerful and sad for me.

Outstanding and very underrated movie. Loosely based on events following Japan's invasion of China and featuring John Malkovich, Joe Pantoliano and an Oscar-worthy performance by a young Christian Bale. Always thought-of by some as one of Spielberg's lesser efforts but I disagree.
