A song about a victorian-era super villain. Could this song be considered steampunk? Recorded at PACTV for CREATIVE FLOW.

  • Haha Neil is the amazing when he performs. He has a ton of personality, and he makes his performance personal. Well, that's how I perceive it. He also writes about the most interesting things. I would have never known about this myth if he hadn't written about it.

  • Thanks for sharing this... his creativity is right on par with Rufus Wainwright... and no less sarcastic and wry!

  • Hm, I hadn't watched Neil for like 2 years now, and I quite forgot his awesomeness...

  • spring heeled kack is in a book called skulduggery pleasant :L

  • huh, 0 people were victims of Spring-Heeled Jack..

  • I just love Neil's voice :)

  • Who else would rhyme "angel" with "strange elusive"? Quit being so awesome, Neil, it makes us all look bad.

On second thought, please don't quite.

  • This is a great song as usual and Neil is a great musician, but he got the myth of Jack wrong. He had no springs on his boots, he received the name "Spring-Heeled" because of his jumping ability.

  • LOLS. This is classic stuff. Loved it. Hmm. Springheeled Jack is also in the skulduggery pleasent book seris. I wonder if Neil saw the connection?

  • Me either. xD

  • *automatic favorite* This is probably one of the best songs he's written..
