BAGKEEPER the best thing to HAPPEN to a wet-dry vacuum!!!

Sold on Amazon. The BagKeeper allows you to use your present wet-dry vacuum with a trash bag to collect and dispose of debris with no heavy lifting of a vacuum tank. Just close the trash bag and toss in the trash.
You will never have to pick up a heavy wet-dry vacuum again just to dump it.
This will also help save your lungs. By not having to dump the contents of the tank of your wet dry vac in the trash can, you will not get a puff of dust floating in your face. Also, you will save your back by not having to lift up the entire garbage filled wet-dry vacuum tank to dispose of the contents.
The Bagkeeper is a cage like tool that secures (or keeps) a plastic trash bag in place while you vacuum dirt or debris---it all will go into the bag. When your done just grab the bag and toss it in the can!!! Thats it your done!!!

The cage sounds to be metal... wouldn't it penetrate the plastic trash bag when you pull it out?

When you are using the vacuum the cage does not move around, If you keep using the same bag (that is) if you just dump out the bag the bag will eventually get holes in it.

The trash bag will collapse but the cage keeps it from blocking the intake of the wet dry vac.

Why do you need the basket?

You need the cage (basket) so the plastic trash bag does not get sucked into the motor (vacuum)

Most newer Ridgid vacs allow for disposable filter bags, that are quicker and easier to attach & use. Just a thought.
