I went for a walk today too. I love the way nature looks this time of year (and all other times too :))
There was a lot of bright green moss on things. The cool, fresh air outside is very refreshing and feels great in my lungs. I'm a little sick right now, but when I was outside I felt great. I agree with what you are saying about solitude as well.
