I have a hard time understanding anyone disliking this! I love all Dougie's music, but Kathy Mattea's beautiful voice really brings this song to life.

This song was also recorded by Rich Mullins. I cant decide which version I like better, both are so beautiful.

I fell in love with the song the first time I heard Rich Mullin's Version. I managed to find a copy of Dougie's International best of collection and was chilled to the bone by Dougie's haunting version... as well as so many other of his songs. Been a huge fan ever since.
I knew of Kathy's version, but I never knew they did a duet which makes tonight's discovery all the more precious. The voice of an angel layered over a song of yearning and a cry for home. Wow.
