@Chopzification wtf! check what i wrote and than reply. Del Piero came as a substitute he was not being substituted, as Buffon started as the captain he has to wear the armband till he is substituted thats why Alex had to give it back

@IIGoofyII no it is not, if the captain is beuing substituted, then he must give the captains armband to the vice captain (buffon) this is not an act of good gesture its a rule......

@nemanjapandzic90 Actually he's right. You can't change captains during a game unless the player wearing the armband is taken off the pitch e.g subbed/ sent off/ injured etc etc. It is a rule. :) He was instructed to return the armband. But Del Piero is still a top class player.

no bud, that doesnt say anywhere in the book of the laws of the game. anybody can be a captain, doesnt have to be a starter
