Smoothie Recipe:

1 Stem of leaves (leafy greens only without the stem) of Kale
1 Frozen Banana with the Peel (broken into halves)
1 Peach
2 small 1inch size Red Beets, (or whatever size you prefer)
1 TSP of Macca Powder
12 Oz of water
1 cup of Ice
1 handful walnuts

Blended in the OMNI 3 HP blender for 60 seconds to 2 minutes, depending on smoothie preference. The OMNI blender is vitamix compatible. This means you could blend the same smoothie with the Vita Mix 5200 blender-container on the OMNI blender.

Servings: 2
Finished fluid ounces is about 30 to 32 oz. This yields in one healthy and very nutritional smoothie diet lunch.

I am not 100% sure, but because there are lots of greens and fresh vegetables and fruits in this smoothie, I bet you, this smoothie could be good for me in many wonderful beneficial ways.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

  • That looks really yummy. My mom is diabetic and this would be great for her along with a scoop of protein.

  • @misshitokiri You can't be 100% sure, but I heard that greens are excellent to help reduce medication for diabetes. Of course, disclaimer, don't believe me, talk to your doctore!

  • @benjorgensen I was fixing to do the same thing I'm glad I seen this video

  • Geesh! Did he put the banana SKINS in too?

  • wow, cant believe i was gona buy a vita mix or a blentec! this blender looks one third more powerful than either. i WILL be ordering this soon. right now i have a magic bulet, i knew from the moment i bought it that it was'nt a powerful blender at all but for $50 it's great. it works ok for some green smoothies. but trying to make two+ servings is not so good.

  • don't throw anything away, eat it all, if you are going to eat the banana peel, how bad could the stem be, by the way that does look good, thanks for reinforcing the fact that sugar is not good
