A tribute to the 1952 western HIGH NOON starring Gary Cooper and Grace Kelly. Cooper won the best actor for his role. The theme song "Do not forsake me" was sung over the credits by Tex Ritter. This is a cover of the Frankie Laine version.

Just like to add that he was about to leave on his honeymoon when he learns the killer is on the train. He stays and then can get no one to back him up.  Even though his wife is a pacifist and says she won't stay to see him get killed, she does return and nails one of the bad guys who was sneaking up behind him.
