Joe's POV
I guess that we're going on a road trip. But the only thing I'm scared of is paparazzi. If they find us, then Meaghan can find us. UGH! I slammed my hand against the steering wheel DAMN MEAGHAN! I suddenly felt a soft hand rub my shoulder and I knew it was Demi. "It's okay, baby. I'll love you no matter what happens. AND Tayler." I swiftly wrapped my arm around Demi's shoulders and off we drove. We drove on and on for about 3 hours, until we made a pit stop at a hotel, where we decided to stay for the night. We managed to get a room, a really bad one at that, but Demi didn't seem to mind. We unpacked a little, if you consider unpacking throwing the suitcases on the floor to the left and falling onto the bed, no time wasting to get the covers on. We immediately fell asleep on the puney bed, with Tayler in between us. I guess let's just say that we didn't have a very good sleep. Tayler had a nightmare, and kicked both me and Demi onto the ground. "TayTay, what's the matter?" Demi said lightly and soothingly. "MOMMY!" She wailed. Demi slowly stroked her back, hoping to calm her down. "Tell me sweetheart, I'll help you, okay?" Demi said slowly, with her calming voice. This girl amazed me, she has the beauty, the brains, and she has the talent to stand anything, and I mean ANYTHING. Tayler uttered out a whisper, that Demi could barely make out. "Tell me again sweetheart, mommy couldn't here you." She whispered slowly. "M-mmmeagh---" Tayler cried out, not even being able to finish the BITCHES NAME. I could feel my hands tense and Demi's slim hand slipping into mine. She held Tayler to her chest, hugging her with one arm, with the other in mine.
Demi's POV
Poor Tayler, she was having nightmares of the bitch again. I sighed deeply as I hugged her tighter, Joe wrapping his muscular arms around us. God, Joe, WHY ARE YOU SO DAMN SEXY?! Well, how can I blame the dude for being so sexy? I guess he was just like that. Suddenly, I heard the door burst open. The next thing I knew, I felt hand cuffs go around my wrist. "STOP IT!" I heard Joe scream, and he tried to tackle the police officer, but was held back by another. I suddenly looked up. And I saw HER. "HELP ME!" I shouted. "LET GO OF HER! SHE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG! ARREST ME!" Joe shrieked at them. "MOMMYMOMMY!" I heard Tayler scream. Then, I felt the police pull me out of the hotel room, and into their car, leaving HER with Joe and Tayler. I kicked, screamed, I did everything I could to make them let me take them with me. But no, I couldn't. Once we got to the station, I got locked up in a cell.
3 months later....
3 months of slaving. 3 months. I haven't seen Joe or Tayler once. They wouldn't even let me clear my case at court! Suddenly, I heard magic, magic in my ears, it was as if i were dreaming. I could hear it echoing in the back of my head. "I'm here for Demi Lovato, the love of my life" It spoke. So dreamily. Then I saw him. And my beautiful daughter. So much she had grown. And I wasn't there to watch her. "MOMMY!" She shouted! Joe and I linked hands through the bars, and he whispered "I love you, I missed you so so much." "Me too. I love you so much." I whispered back to him. And the only thing was, that something was wrong. Really, really wrong. I felt anger running through me. "HOW COULD YOU NOT HAVE FOUGHT TO GET ME OUT!" I shouted. "I couldn't Demi, I couldn't" He said. "HOW COULD YOU NOT! DO YOU KNOW HOW BIG THIS SITUATION IS?!" I screamed. "DEMI! I KNOW HOW BIG THIS IS!" He shouted back at me. "THIS NEVER WOULD'VE HAPPENED IF YOU HADN'T FORGOTTEN ABOUT ME!" I shrieked. "DO YOU REALLY THINK THIS IS HOW I WANTED US TO END UP?!" He screamed. After that, I had no answer. He glared at me for awhile, and then he left.
It's been 4 more months now, and I haven't seen him since. I still shed a tear when I think about that day, hoping and wishing that he would come back, but deep in my heart, I know that he will not.
