Just brilliant :) great movie
-
its about perception!
if the mind moves the leafs, then what moved the girl, at the time she played her cello and he fell in love?
thats why in the end he looks at the tree and asks: isn't that too harsh?
bitter sweet indeed!

It seems a lot of people misunderstood this movie. There's no revenge and he didn't do anything for the girl. In fact, he didn't do anything at all. Everything that happens in the movie didn't happen except the first and last minutes of the movie. It's just a guy who's bored at work so he imagines himself living a more dangerous but exciting life. You're supposed to realize that when you see him do some shadow-boxing in the reflection of the window at the end.
Its not about revenge, its a mans desperate attempt to keep the only moment in his life that ever made him happy. Knowing that they want to kill the girl, risks everything to save the only thing that ever made him happy.
Sometimes we fight for thing we know wont happen but does that mean we cant fight?
