MiG Ayesa - "UNITED AS ONE" - Sendong

Typhoon Sendong ('Washi') hit the Philippine island of Mindanao on 17 December, 2011, causing incredible devastation. About 1,000 deaths and the displacement of over 280,000 people just before Christmas is a tragedy beyond comprehension.

Using images and videos downloaded from YouTube, this montage was pieced together to help bring light to the plight of the people of Iligan, Northern Mindanao, the Visayas and Palawan, to the soundtrack of a song I wrote called "UNITED AS ONE". I originally wrote this song to help the victims of Typhoon Ondoy in 2009, but it is a song that is a call-to-arms to any emergency where help is needed.

The victims of Typhoon Sendong need your help now.
