  • @mc50992 i know, i dont know why i wrote that. the german 88 was most deadly in my eyes. must of been drunk or stoned or both! thanks for the reply.

  • @baileys60 Yup! The shells would have timed or pressure sensitive fuses and would explode in the air hopefully damaging planes with the explosion itself or it's shrapnel. Warships with modified with deck guns that could fire such rounds and elevate their barrels high enough to fire at planes during world war two escort duties as well.

  • You must be into big asses :P

  • You could build a nice house there.

  • @noizeof77 What do you expect from filthy lawless mexicans that do nothing but destroy EVERYTHING this country stands for.

  • Was this maybe from WWII. To defend San Francisco from the Japanese?

  • That isnt Davis. Its the Mendel Gun battery. Had the famous "disappearing guns". I was there a few years ago. There was graffitti all over it. Too bad people are so disrespectful. Very nostalgic standing there.

  • i didnt realise you shoot planes with artillery guns

  • Ive been there!! also been to alot of those on the other side.

  • If that is where I think it is the name of it is Battery Davis. There is a Battery identical to it directly across it in Marin :)
