GM marketing at its best: They were still using the "Get to know Geo" theme in the last year of the Geo brand! (1997) They should said "Get to know Chevrolet, because that's what Geos will be called next year!"

It may not be the best looking car but it does what it says. And it is not a pussmobile. I like nonhybrid cars. After all the prius sucks the metro's fuel efficient cock.

My dad had two 1991 Metros - one with a 5 speed manual and one with a 3 speed automatic. When the manual Metro got too rotten to be road legal, he had the (perfect-working) 3 cylinder engine taken out and put into the engine-less auto metro.

With the 5 speed Metro, he got just over 50 MPG, but with the automatic Metro, he got only 38 MPG.
