After listening to several responses to this film, I was disppointed by the content. A friend told me about the film because we are alway trying to find good movies. We often talk about movies that include black culture and I told my friend that movies like this cross cultural lines and color lines, and I explained to him that there are other movies like this from other cultures, so I'll share those titles in order to demystify this short film in terms of race.
In this discussion I talk about Pedro Almodovar a director from Spain who did a movie called "Bad Education" a.k.a (La mala educación).
In this discusion I talk about Takashi Miike a Japanese director who did the movie "Visitor Q"
In a nutshell, I try to help viewers digest this film if it seemed shocking. I have always thought that understanding difficult ideas and concepts is made more difficult without some context. From my point of view we are viewer, the the writer/director is trying to communicate something to us.
Freely respond to this discussion, I'm looking forward to some substance and content. However, I can easily respond to anything less, but I won't.
