@Jazzy25 oh, i'm sorry.did i offend you?perhaps you misunderstood me.at no time did i say the driver "wanted" to do this,i merely state that he could of prevented this by slowing down in time to go around the curve.and due to his selfish negligence he has seriously jeopardized his safety and those around him.also the financial impact of all parties involved is going to the red.so, in this situation, i feel that education and training are needed not sympathy.

@ministeroffire1970 Part 2) Who is responsible for the excessive speed? This is 2 answers possibly, one is the driver or two, malfunctioned brakes. The curve played no part in creating this accident, its is posted with speed limit signs and once those signs are disrespected, accidents occur. Again, the curve plays no part in creating the accident until you place excessive speed into the equation. Who creates the speed? The driver. When a curve is at fault, is if it jumps out at you.

@ministeroffire1970 Part1) Nope, you're probably not seeing the facts here relative to the problem. Truck and a trailer with a load on that curve at 20mph is safe. At 35mph is safe. Faster than 40mph and that truck will tip over. Excessive speed created the accident, not the curve.

He didn't hit his brakes until :10. He was well into the curve before he did. It appears that the the curve could give the illusion that you could make it without decreasing speed, until it's to late as he may have realized at :10 seconds. Just a thought.
