In my Visual Literacy course, we are studying aesthetics. I am very interested in aesthetics in abstract film. According to Marshall McLuhan, "the medium is the massage... no part of us is untouched, unaffected or unaltered."

You are invited to prove McLuhan correct. Please watch this 8 minute and 14 second film and answer 4 easy questions with a sentence or two.

They appear in the film but in case you miss them:

#1 How does part 1 make you feel?

#2 How is part 2 different from part 1?

#3 How is part 3 different from part 1?

#4 Which part do you like best - part 1, 2 or 3? Why?

If you could jot down your answers in this e-mail to geochalker@yahoo.com , thanks much!
