Its Tough: A Jonas Twin Sister Story~Chapter 7

Candie's POV

I was at a loss of words. That was a long time ago, and no one was ever supposed to find out. I couldn't believe she went through my stuff and read my diary...I thought we were closer than to sneak around behind each other's backs like that

Candie: "I...I...I..I can't believe you went through my things!" I whispered.
Lexi: "I can't believe you would CUT YOURSELF!"
Candie: "Sh! Not so loud!" I scolded. She didn't care.
Lexi: "No! I will not quiet down! HOW COULD YOU DO THAT?! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?"
Candie: "I...I don't know alright!? IT WAS A LONG TIME AGO!"
Lexi: "Why though? Why would you do that to yourself?"
Candie: "I already told you! It was a long time ago! I was in the fifth grade! I don't know why I did it! People were making fun of me and it made me upset! I only did it once! So just shut up about it alright?"
Kevin: "Shut up about what? What's going on in here?"
Lexi: "Candie cu-" I immediately cut Lexi off.
Candie: "I cut my finger and Lexi was just worried. But its fine, just a little paper cut." I improvised, and Lexi glared at me.
Kevin: "Oh, alright then."
Lexi: "I want to go back to the bus Kevin."
Kevin: "Alright. Bye Candz."
Candie: "Bye Kev. Bye Lex" I sighed, falling back in my hospital bed. I couldn't wait to get outta this place.

Lexis POV

I got back in the car with Kevin and we started driving back home.
Kevin: "So, what really happened in there?"
Lexi: "I found Candie's diary in her bunk...and well there was an entry that upset me a lot."
Kevin: "About what?"
Lexi: "N-nothing. She never wanted anyone to know, and she'll personally kill me if I tell you."
Kevin: "Okay....."
Lexi: "When's she coming home from the hospital?"
Kevin: "I don't know. Maybe tomorrow."
Lexi: "Alright.."
Kevin: "Well, we're back."
Lexi: "Thanks for taking me!" I exclaimed, running back to the bus.

As I was running to the back lounge, I ran right into Joe, knocking him over.
Joe: "Woah there! Slow down Lex! You're gunna break your big brother!"
Lexi: "Oh, sorry Joe! Are you okay?"
Joe: "Yeah, this time."
Lexi: "Okay. Well, I'm going to the back lounge if anyone needs me."
Joe: "Kay, but I think Nick's back there writing a song, so be careful"
Lexi: "Maybe I can help him..."
Joe: "I don't know about that. He wouldn't let me help"
Lexi: "He likes me better," I smiled.
Joe: "Alright. Any idea when Candie's coming back home?"
Lexi: "Kev said probably tomorrow."
Joe: "Awesome! I miss her so much"
Lexi: "Yeah. Me too." I sighed, walking to the lounge.

I plopped my body down on the couch next to Nick. I sighed, laying my head on his shoulder.
Nick: "What's wrong Lex?"
Lexi: "Just some twin drama."
Nick: "Oh..."
Lexi: "Yeah. I found some old picture of Candie in her bunk and I found her old diary and stuff, but when I asked her about it, she just screamed at me for going through her stuff."
Nick: "It's okay. She'll get over it in no time. You know her. She'll be back to all smiles by tomorrow."
Lexi: "Yeah, I guess you're right..." I yawned, starting to fall asleep on Nick.
Nick: "Of course I am."
Lexi: "Yup, you always are," I said sarcastically, drifting off to sleep.

I felt someone pick me up and set me down in my bed a couple minutes later. Whoever it was tucked me in and kissed my forehead good night. I fell asleep thinking about Candie and the stuff in her bunk. I'm gunna have to get more out of her tomorrow. Hopefully she'll be well enough to come home from the hospital.

Will Candie be able to come home from the hospital?
Will Lexi still be mad tomorrow?
Will Candie let anyone know anything else about her?
