[Guide] ALL Arcade Onyx Medals - Gears Of War 3

Written Guide

1.0 How to get Force Multiplier 0.00 -- 3.55

1.1 Plug in a split screen or have a friend join. Start arcade campaign and select act 2 chapter 7.

1.2 Complete this chapter exactly as done in the video and you will have a 10x multiplier.

1.3 Once the chapter is done end the game and load it back up. This has to be done 100 times

2.0 How to get Number 1, Survivalist, Aficionado, and King of Cog 3.55 -- 13.15

2.1 Again use your split screen or a friend. Start act 2 chapter 2 and if you want as much money as possible use a high difficulty and/or mutators.

2.2 Play through this chapter without dying and have the most points. Once you get to the end of the chapter run past the enemies as I do in the video and kill the remaining from the gate

2.3 Once all the enemies are dead you get a checkpoint. The gate opens and run up the hill to complete the chapter. You will get progress to all the above onyx medals.

2.4 Now during the next cut scene press start and reload from last checkpoint. Your checkpoint was at the gate so run up the hill and complete the chapter again. Continue doing this for all your onyx medals

3.0 How To get Tour of Duty and Warmonger

3.1 If you complete insane arcade you will get the onyx for completing arcade on insane and you will get the campaign on insane. I will not make a video of the whole campaign but if I get enough requests for the final boss then I will do that. I used the 3 mutators: Super Reload, Instagib Melee and Infinite Ammo for the final boss and camped behind the elevator you come up from. It takes time but be patient and its yours

just curious, i've heard that the 2-2 "glitch" has been patched and people have been being reset or banned for exploiting this method. do you know anything about this?

@quieterr3 yeah when people told me it was patched i tried it to see for myself and its not. it still works! i've heard of no bans and you wont, unless you ruin public arcade by doing it perhaps so just be sure to do it 'local' just like everything else and no complications will occur :D

You dont need to do it 100 times. There are chapters where you can restart chekpoint and it counts as one

@VideoFletcher which medal are you refering to ? if its force multiplier i was under the impression that restarting the chapter would ger rid of ur x10 :/

bout 36 force multipliers away from this and it will be my last Arcade Onyx...figure id finish this up once I finish up the CTL Onyx medals...

I use Anvil Gate for Force Multiplier. Turn on Super Reload and Unlimited Ammo on normal. When you see the Siege Beast in position, run inside on the lower catwalk. Finish defending the gate inside to end the level. At the exact moment that the score summary starts to go away, hit Start > Reload Checkpoint. That will bring you back to the scene where you're about to defend inside. There are enough Locust to get your multiplier back to 10x every time. Finish up on 2-2 for Chapters played and #1.

To save some time on this level. After the "Chapter 7 Completed" screen, you can simply restart chapter instead of returning to main menu first.
