Mini Cooper S vs Porsche Cayman S

Yeah, I know its no contest. But I post these videos so people can see themselves and so others can see the action on the track. I love the Mini Cooper. I test drove one yesterday with my daughter, who is planing to buy one.

In the Red group. This was a 1:26 lap, started at the first braking cone into little bend. In Ricochet, I acknowledge the corner worker, holding a blue/yellow passing flag to warn the Mini that he was slowing me down.

I noticed a problem with my right front tire. I had to pit and air it back up, then replace the valve stem before then next session.

I have a mini cooper s for my first car. (i am 16 and a very good driver who knows his car's limits) If that mini cooper knew it's limits, it could have done way better than the cayman s on the turns. Depending on whether or not this was a 2nd generation mini cooper s, (07+ models and up, turbocharged along with the sport package, which stiffens suspension and gives the car a tighter turn radius) he could have killed the cayman on the corners. Just saying, the mini's handling is top-notch.
