When the commentator was talking about skaters and pointing toes, I was thinking more of, "SHE WAS A BALLET DANCER, OF COURSE HER FEET ARE POINTED." This was beautiful, made all the more so, I think, by the ballet influences in her performance.

She was that serious crush on a girl in a movie that you see and wished you could meet. Very talented and driven. Can't say I can figure out the attraction to the much older guy.

I have to agree. I was NEVER a fan of her dancing and I will be the first to admit my knowledge of ice skating is limited to my own asthetics but I think this was probably one of the most beautiful routines I have ever seen. Brara!!!

Another testament to how ballet training improves a physical art. She may not be doing all the athletics but no skater that I have seen, IMHO, has such artistry. So lyrical - soft yet strong and controlled.
