Options gaining traction in City Council: Council Members, major City unions and dozens of advocacy organizations pushing new revenue options that include ending failed subsidies, collecting damages from Mortgage Electronic Recording System (MERS) for unpaid real estate transfer fees, adopting IBO recommendations, and enacting fairer tax code.
