The UN Climate Summit in Cancun saw good progress towards Oxfam's ultimate goal of a fair, ambitious and legally binding deal. The agreement gave a lifeline to the Kyoto Protocol - the world's only legally binding agreement to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Negotiators also agreed to set up a global Climate Fund that will support the world's poorest people fight the effects of climate change.
While there's still much work to be done, the progress in Cancun was a major step forwards. Over half a million people have joined with Oxfam this year, calling for urgent action on climate change. Campaigning together means our voice was heard in Cancun and has helped us Sow the Seed for a fair climate deal.

Dumb people afraid of the weather.... The climate has been changing since the beginning of time, trying to stop it now is just stupid!!
Dont you people know what CO2 is?? You breathe out CO2, plants breathe it in and give us back oxygen. Humans are not even responsable for 1% of the CO2 emmissions per year. Maybe we should tax and regulate the volcanoes, and every dying tree that is releasing CO2.... Yea screw those trees, no more CO2 fertilizer for them... This is about money and power!!
