I don't think you should pay anything mate.
In fact, I don't think ANY of us should pay for the license. The current BBC is extremely biased and corrupt. They accept money from dubious revenues including the EU (why).
In fact, according to the statute law they use to take money from us, they are not eligible to take our money. Paying the BBC is illegal if you research it.
Google TPUC, the peoples united community.
Good luck!

As a free citizen, I have the right to choose what services and goods I pay for. At least that is what the law tells me so who am I to argue with that.
I do not support government sanctioned robbery by the BBC and I think it is high time licence payers wised up to this corruption, bent MP's and bankers and the rest of the robbing bastards out there who would rob us in our own homes to a point where we have no homes to go to.

For Blind/deaf/hearing and seeing people, the Licence Fee is what it is, ONE BIG TAX. that lines the pockets of the greedy shits that run the bbc and capita

@bslactivist go to bbcameric(dot)com and scroll to the bottom and then ask them how they really feel about advertising :)
there's a little button marked 'advertise with us' ,..... tho the programming is all programs paid for over here naturally and even better... try and watch one on their site.... you're not allowed to hahaha
my feelings are unimportant as i dont have a tv as i feel that most of it is brainwashing anyways ... a good example of this brainwashing is making you buy a license :)

do not fuckin pay...simple

@bslactivist What do you mean not true? My point was that you should pay LESS than blind people, because blind people get MORE from the BBC than deaf people. I don't know what it is like to be deaf, but I am pretty sure you don't get any entertainment out of BBC radio. Which is why I think it is wrong that you should pay towards it.
-
Even if the deaf were only paying 50% it would still be a little unfair because the blind can enjoy all the BBC Radio services. Just because the TV licence no longer mentions radio on it; people sometimes forget the licence money is used for that too. I don't have a TV because I dislike television generally. I therefore don't pay any license, but I do listen to BBC radio, subsidised by all the TV viewers including deaf ones, like yourself, who could never make any use of it. That is appauling.
there is no law in existance that states you have to pay the BBC to watch television, their license is actually a contract and you dont have to accept it..... acts and statutes are NOT law and can only be applied when you CONSENT to it... simple!
