I got a '07 F-150, Lariat with the 5.4L Triton in it. I'm thinking of getting this intake for it, but I won't until I get it tuned. I want to let you know that the '04 - '07 or '08 F-150s with the 5.4L run lean from the factory and when you add air with an intake, it makes it run too lean. I would recommend you get a tune for this truck so no damage occurs. Not saying it will, but it might. How much did this intake cost you anyway?, if you don't mind me asking.

@TheTerminator310 yea but in california tuner chips are illegal and im not to car savy so idk how to exactly tune it. it costed like 200 i think but im sure you could shop around and find it cheaper

@TheTerminator310 I have an 07 f150 too, i had the spectre intake which i would not recommend, but i just installed a k&n intake from amazon.com for 195.99, i already had the superchips flashpaq tuner and downloaded the k&n program. 37hp is what superchips claims and 15hp is what k&n claims. I can definitely tell the difference now that the truck is programmed to work with the intake. I also have custom true dual exhuast with dynomax bullets.

Huge waste of money. The Gotts mod is much cheaper (around $25), is 100% reverseable, and gives the same performance gains. Your exhaust should make the noise, not your intake.
