@awf9287 The thing is, if Heath or Jake was a girl, they could have been together without any problem. The whole movie is about hiding their secret BECAUSE they're gays, not because they're already married or whatever, as they weren't when they met. It's all about the difficulty of being gay, not faith or stuff like this - as they're actually unfaithful to their wives. At least, this is how I see it...

I had been planning to watch this movie for so long.
No one ONCE thought to tell me it was going to make me cry myself to sleep and wake up crying everyday for a week after watching it... </3
This movie broke my heart...

If this movie wasn't about a gay couple, it would have bombed. Substitute JG or Heath with a woman, and you have a boring love story that has been done millions of times. People are so absurd, and the whole "gay sensation" thing will die out. I think only then, when it does, will gays make any headway as far as the Constitution is concerned--that is, when their PR is much better.
