  • @danaseilhan I haven't seen the older stuff yet...but the doctor changes his outfit in the regenrations I was making a joke -_-

  • @danaseilhan Being machine-gunned is an interruption. Unless you're bullet-proof. And no classic Doctor had this massive energy discharge with regenerating--it looks like deus ex machina

  • @danaseilhan Well I am settling for the explanation given in the series, as that is what I believe the writers really meant.

  • @crabbieappleton It wasn't interrupted. She was still "cooking." Kind of like Ten being able to regrow his hand. Just because they've now changed shape doesn't mean the cells are done doing their thing.

  • @abc101090 Actually she *is* a Time Lady--a Time Lady created upon a human template, whereas a Gallifreyian Time Lady would be created upon a Gallifreyian template. There's a difference between Gallifreyian and Time Lord/Lady--the difference is the addition of the Rassilon Imprimatur. They haven't gotten into explaining this in the new series yet so they settled for an easier explanation. Dunno if they will ever go into details but those are canon.

  • @abc101090 With both humans and Gallifreyians they do not come by that regeneration trait naturally. Their DNA must have extra added that connects them biologically with the Time Vortex. I've heard it referred to as the Rassilon Imprimatur. Apparently Rassilon invented or discovered it. Anyway, humans usually don't have it added--River's an exception. She deals better than Donna because Donna had Gallifreyian stuff added to her body with someone else's regeneration. Different situation.

  • @Arella17 You weren't around for Four Into Five, were you?

  • Something about her just pisses me off.

  • Anyone else hear, right at the beginning, "where the fuck is he?"?

  • When a man regenerates he just has to tighten the notches on his belt a bit...when a woman regenerates...whole new wardrobe.
