@JayDBZ I know this is extreamly late. But that wasn't the case.

GameFreak wanted Lucario as a MUST. So they letted him replace Mewtwo.

Mewtwo was going to be in brawl and was almost complete. But since GameFreak wanted Lucario because of the current Generation of Pokemon at the time, he was more perfect and Mewtwo wasn't. But I have a feeling them both be on the next game :)

He was always my favorite pokemon when I was little because he looked like a dog and was badass, hahaha.

But I  really think that Zoroark and Darkrai should appear in a SMB.

i actually like a little Lucario, but you can't say that he is extremely strong.

(but there are even weaker characters).

I think he's nice, but it's difficult to see him killing any character

He left only 28% damage on yoshi...

You can see characters like Ike, Snake, etc dealing much more damage
