Stop suggesting that if you are a hardworking Republic Christian Conservative (code word for white) that you deserve to keep insurance or that you are so deserving. We can't afford universal healthcare because we are in debt by borrowing money and are afraid to raise taxes to pay for stuff we need. What is your definition of 3rd world country?

So is Canada, Sweden, Britain, Germany, Finland, and France third world countries. The reason why we can't afford Universal healthcare is because we are debt by borrowing money from the Chinese and buying stuff because we are so scared to raise taxes to pay for stuff we want. Instead we have wasted so much money on government programs, projects, and wars we can't even afford to take care of our own people. We have veterans who are homeless on the street.

Don't forget to mention the "insurance companies" are also Government owned and have been for several decades. The difference between masquerading as private industry and Gov. controlled is that they're simply coming out from behind the veil and admitting their control. Just like the media, Gov. controlled. When Obama came to Denver during his campaign about 150,000 people came out in support. There were only about 150 total here. They're just loud not numerous.

Debate is good, but get good information. All these people are just repeating what they've heard from talk radio and cable news.

Have an original thought or become a pawn in the insurance lobby's PR campaign.

That is probably a good idea. Here in Norway we make them do more comlicated things like collect garbage, provide water, health care, education etc. But I have seen you politicians, and franky i am amazed many of them can tie their own shoe laces :) I would not trust them with much either.

The other option is to elect more qualified and competant people. Remember, you are their boss. You hire them to do a job. Hire better people and get more out of them.

My contry in a 3ed world contry and we don't have full freedom speack so we won't disrespect other people, no tax, and total free heath care for citizen and non citizen for the last 100 yr. the reason behind it is non of us depand on the weak human's when we ask, we ask god before all, then we thank him for the good and bad we get.
