PhysX Lab is an artist-friendly authoring tool for APEX destruction. It allows an artist to define how an object will fracture into pieces when it is destroyed. PhysX Lab also includes a simulation mode, where the artist can test out the fractured model to see if it breaks up the way he likes, and to iterate if necessary.

  • I wish games would be like that in 2012.

  • Is there a way to prebake the fragmentation into an animations?

  • Great. How can I download it?

  • Nvidia Apex will be released soon guys. I believe a beta has been published already at the nvidia developer center.

  • I heard from someone Apex will be released when hell rains ice cubes.

  • Nvidia PLEASE MAKE that stuff PUBLIC!!!!!! Oh, I'm gonna die if it won't happen...

  • Wish APEX PhsyX could be used with OpenCL. Theres no real game-changing demonstrations of PhysX, its very asthetic, or you risk cutting out people who don't have or can't use PhysX, and I really think it would go a long way to making it open for people to use, and to enjoy.

  • so 20 seconds of someones life means a lot...

  • @VerFoxx

    yeah why?

is it a problem? didn't know that you aren't allowed to comment on posts...

tho I should have said: "it was an alpha version"

but seriously... someone saying "omg full of bugs" to an alpha version software is a complete moron...

  • @Trampboy931

can't you read? it's an alpha version... not even a Beta...
