My 1996 Dodge Dakota 5.2 V8 Magnum 20 - 75
The noise that the end is the wind hitting my driver side mirror.. unsure why it makes that noise though. If you listen when it changes from 1st to 2nd gear you can hear the tire chirp.

  • no its was between 1st and 2nd. all automatic dakotas shift from 1st to 2nd between 35 & 42mph. then 2nd to 3rd round 70 to 75mph. people need to learn things before they leave comments.

  • @TheRealMrBlake yep!

  • @frankenstein04 sport mirrors on all 3 of yours?

  • @TheRealMrBlake Thats weird...I have a 94 95 and a 96 all of them dont make that sound...my 89 and 91 didnt either...mabey the above comments are correct it might be the big dumbo mirrors...they arnt very good looking haha

  • @skinpounding I think it has something to do with the mirrors.. mine sit off the truck a little leaving a gap so i think air rushes in there and makes that noise? Not 100 percent for sure but either way i hate the noise very much so.

  • @TheRealMrBlake yeah its loud as can be.. It sucks but ill crack the window when it happens and see if it stops.. thanks for the advice :)

  • @thegrimreaper73 i have a 96 and it has the same noise but on the passenger side. crack the window about an inch and it doesnt do it. but holy hell during the winter it's annoying. my girlfriend thinks its hilarious. and just incase you were wondering the people driving next to you CAN hear it inside their car.

  • @thegrimreaper73 mine does that too. i thought it was my ventshades on my windows. i hate that noise
