Think the carron valley committee is no more think there was to much back stabbing going on,shame there could be loads more trails so i think the maintenance will be up to everybody to muck in.Cambu is ok if your ever there try the downhill section its good,so are the views from the top of the old quarry...Im more up the valley though at the runway section...Have you been up laggan,was up there in the summer thought it was great..

Thats a real pity about C.V. coz the trails are pretty good an there is loads of scope for new ones. Aye, I've been to Laggan a few times, its great riding there. Upper red runs good fun. Innerleithen XC route is the best I've ever done so far. Might try Cambus sometime soon. If I'm headed down in your direction sometime I'll send you a message and see if you're about. Cheers, Aaron.

What type of camera did you use for making your vids,im up carron valley most weekends maybe i will see uze up there one time..Have you been over to cambu in stirling they have trails there aswell although i think they are unofficial..

Believe it or not, I just strap my nokia to an old reflector bracket I bolted onto my stem and switch it to video. I do all the editing and music with it as well. Cheaper than a headcam! Haven't been to Carron Valley for a few months, I've got Pitmedden forest (Abernethy) just behind my house. Miles of great trails there. Whats happening about the trail maintenance at C.V. these days? I must get back there soon. Is Cambus any good? It always looks great on the You Tube vids. Cheers, Aaron

Carron Valley trails were ruined by the Glasgow neds all teaming out here causing trouble and violence. Sadly.

hey i was there yesterday and i have got to say i realy didnt like it to be honest because the route u was very long and ROUGH.... and the routes down were just as rough to be honest.

I was there today for the first time. Really enjoyed it but it was very rough. The Forestry Ranger said that it's going to be resurfaced soon so maybe the FC are maintaining it?

Never been down to innerleithen i always end up at glentress when im down that way,think i might need to check it out...
