Hey guys! Here is a really simple and easy sandwich for an easy meal. My family has been making this sandwich for ages.

Recipe:

-deli meat (any type you prefer will work)
-deli cheese (any type you prefer will work)
-mustard
-butter
-salt
-pepper
-onion
-hamburger bun
-tinfoil

Original Sauce (the fattier version): 50% ratio butter to 50% ratio mustard. This will make enough for 4-6 sandwiches. Portion about 1Tbsp sauce per sandwich, but you may use more if needed.

-3 Tbsp butter
-3 Tbsp mustard
-2 Tbsp finely diced onions
-salt and pepper to taste

1. Add onion and butter to a bowl. Microwave 20 seconds. Stir.
2. Microwave 15 seconds. Stir.
3. Add Mustard. Microwave 10 seconds. Stir. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Lighter Version of Sauce: 1 part butter for every 2 parts mustard. This version makes enough sauce for 4-6 sandwiches, about 1Tbsp per sandwich.

-2 Tbsp butter
-4 Tbsp mustard
-2 Tbsp onion
-Salt and pepper to taste

Prepare the same as the original recipe.

Assembling the sandwiches:
1. Place meat and cheese on sandwich
2. Place sauce on top of bun
3. Put buns together.
4. Wrap in tinfoil.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 5-10 minutes.
6. Enjoy!

  • yay for food vids! this gives me some great ideas for making my own sauces for sandwhiches (which i have never really thought of doing but would be awesome for me since i'm so particular about how things tatste and whats in them!) thanks for sharing! (you look lovely btw!)

  • @orlendatube Thanks!

  • Glad to see another cooking video!! I'm not a mustard fan but my husband would love this. I actually make something similar to this but instead of mustard I use dry italian dressing and hawaiian bread buns instead of hamburger buns.

  • @anwilson81 Thanks. I have a couple more to upload. I haven't been feeling well for a while . . . and I have been finding it hard to find the motivation. I taped a video on my families hot fudge sauce and peanut brittle.

  • oh no i'm sorry to hear you are sick! i totally get that motivation drops when you dont feel good....i used to cook alot but now i dont do any for that reason. i look forward to being able to get back into the kitchen when i'm better! hope you get better soon!

  • @orlendatube I just found out a week ago that I've had a sinus infection for the last 3 months . . . .but I'm feeling much better now!
