I would like to say this....but it is so impractical, so unwanted, so foolish for me to even think of waiting when I am not even wanted on a permanent basis. Yet this song says what my heart is saying...and it hurts.

Listening and watching Mathis sing this takes my breath away...;what a marvelous package, the voice, the expressions, the apparel (always very stylish) truly a great artist. And a really nice guy, met him several times and interviewed him three times on the ocassion of his concerts inj New York City.

Johnny Mathis was given his wonderful talent of singing by God, the heck with his sexual preference. He is and always will be my favorite singer and by the way he is a role model of mine too. He is an upstanding and honorable human being. I feel sorry for people who allow the personal life of an entertainer to affect their attitude about the persons talent.
