i saw a small version of cloverfield that was made from either plastic or clay and let me tell u it looked like a dog (the way its hind legs were) and a monkey (the way it had its knuckels on the floor) it looked pretty strange. i guess the movie was okay

Turns out the monster survived the nucleur explosion so it may be stronger (gasp) than godzilla and that was a younger monster and their is a mother or father out there that is supposed to be much much bigger so think of it. also the monster was asleep in the ocean for thousand's of years and what fell from the sky was a slushee/oilrig company which name i forget, and they are going to maybe make a sequel explaining the origin.

I disagree with your citical review of this movie. Please, don't give a bunch of haters a reason to rant, Cloverfield was an acceptable addition to the monster movie genre. See this movie and you will enjoy it.

my opinion: cloverfeild was too shaky and confusing. it dident answer enough questions and leaves many viewers arguing over whats what. i think it was just an excuse for creaters to perposefully leave plot holes.

The thing that made me mad, was that the director wanted america to have it's own monster, but it turns out that clover (AKA-the monster) is from a japanese book.
