  • love the sound

what exhaust system are you using?

  • Exhaust is a custom Borla race system that has a 2-into-1 collector pipe up front (made by Borla to TMS measurement/specs), which joins to 3" stainless traveling in as direct a route possible (for the least restriction), and into a small muffler at the tail.

We have a few photos of the exhaust build up in the E90 race car build-up photo gallery, on our site (over 200 pics, total).

  • sounds sexy man

  • @ToOoDaNk AND OVER AGAIN

  • bmw's sound like shitttt with after market pipes

  • GOTTA LOVE THE SOUND..!!!

  • BMW Autos sind ausgezeichnet. Aber das Video ist laaaaaaaangweilig. Gääääähn.

  • err I mean a 633csi. The 6-series is a 2-door version of the 7-series. It was a 3.3litre I-6, of a different engine block than the 2.8litre in the 328.

And contrary to popular belief, the M-Badged BMWs are NOT the stock German versions. They are like SVT is to Ford, it's the performance division. Even over there they have the M3, M5, M6 but the 330i, 530i, & 650i are basically the same as here.

Although BMWs had slightly less power if they were NA cars, from emissions differences in the past.

  • a CsL or Csi? Cause I had a 1978 633Csi. GREAT car.

  • Surprisingly it wasn't an NA engine. It was a French built German engine, altho it wasn't the 6 Throttle-Bodied M6. The NA version has about 15 less HP than mine did stock. I know this because mine had NO emissions standards what so ever, the NA engine would require at least a Cat-Converter by the '78 model year.

It looked stock on the outside & I got more compliments from that car than any i've owned. + I've owned more powerful & better known cars.

    It wasn't a 328i, it was a 330csi 3.3litre

  • @tftmc

the 328i ended up with 280hp and 295 torque? You are kidding me! Thats a nice number for a NA engine!

  • hahaha
