The Jefferson was located on Jefferson St. in downtown Huntington, IN. This is not the Huntington Theater that was open until 2001 and still stands as an entertainment venue, but the one across the street that closed in 1954. This location has been a Salvation Army Thrift Store and a Lazer Labyrinth to name but two businesses to occupy the space. Anyway, in the attic the facade had remained untouched except by time and the projection booth hadn't likely had any visitors in the 50 years since the theater closed.

Sorry about the shakiness, but I was trying to tape and not die at the same time.

  • NICE JOB!! I dont care about the shakiness, you did what every person with a supposed theatre exploration video SHOULDVE done, you got into the projection booth!!! That is the primary target of any theatre exploring, get into that booth and see what the hell is going on in there. Nice job!

  • The projection room is such an integral part. I would have never dreamed of NOT at least trying to go in there.
