@SUBARUDOO This is 100% Louis Johnson, believe me... I follow this guy since the 70's. Seen him play this solo back in 1981 in Holland.

Just some info a bass player provided on talkbass.com: I've seen Louis when he played with Billy Preston. He was 17 years old at the time. He was a good bassplayer then and was NOT thumpin and poppin at the time. He had taken the place of...Keni Burke who WAS thumpin and poppin at that time! Keni had moved from Chicago to L.A. to be around his friend Larry Graham.

werd. there are funky whites yellows and browns 2. But im white and can freely acknowledge that blacks have brought the funk for decades! and most funky white guys have bit their style or collaborated with them.
