The lyrics confess the self-subjugated exploits of a frustrated male with his unsuccessful advances upon a woman, a lack of success, that he fully acknowledges in a humorous and self-ridiculing admission. There is also no ‘passive aggressiveness’ about it. It is merely aggressive, and the ‘male entitlement’ you speak of is used here in a characterization to further emphasize the ridiculousness. It’s quite brilliantly constructed.

I could not agree more with Danny Flynn's comment on some other comment that Nick Cave's lyrics are "pro-rape". It is patently obvious he is somewhat "taking the piss" out of whole ridiculous situation. He is merely speaking the truth, not dressing up base emotions that the male (like it or not) possesses.
