Hot damn that White boy can sure sing a good song! I can't prove it, but I've got this theory that the day Sam Cooke died his magic happened and his voice was somehow reincarnated in Steve Perry's voice box. They sound a lot alike and, had Sam lived, it would have been great to see them togther. Voices like that are rare-to have two of them in one generation-well it can't be coincidence. Have I convinced you? Oh well, its just a theory. Don't debate it-just sit back and enjoy the music!

Sure loved me some Steve Perry back in the day. Saw them including Randy Jackson at the Fourm in LA way back when.

Love love love the man and his voice .. I agree he will be hot at 80 and as for the one about him being gay .. get a grip just because of a few pics you have seen you think he's gay . He is entitled to his privacy , he stays out of the lime light and i doubt if he is gay and so what if he is that is his business .. What ever gets you through life and makes you happy .. @julianajourney HONESTLY!!! Who would NOT want that man to sing those lyrics to her (or him?) I think I'd faint! And THEN I'd 'stay awhile'.....as long as he'd let me! As for his age: he's 4 months older than I am, do you think it matters to ME? MERCY!
