I think it is a Gibson Barney Kessel jazz guitar. The Trini Lopez model was based on this but had a Fender strat-like head -- but good call - and you should want either one.... The bass is a Gibson EB-2 hollow body which I do still own - a 67 model.

Jimmy Page as session guitarist. Amazing how back then a few instruments with talented players could knock out such memorable songs and do it live. Nothing today compares.

Somehow (Karma) I stumbled upon this video. The guitar player on your right, the band's left, is playing a 64 or 65 Gibson Trini Lopez guitar. Today extremely rare. I want ONE!
Barry Jenkins (drums) looks like he's asleep. He played the same when he went to the Animals.

I heard on the radio (koma am 620), that this song was once banned is Boston . So was Dirty Water, by the Standels.
