  • there is no safe amount if fueled properly?backfire through your inlet is bad mostly due to a lean condition. (Trevor Langfield - The Wizard of NOS himself) has wrote a book and highlights the 106 gti along with the saxo vts as being able to handle 75bhp with no problems, after that a progressive controller would be needed to prevent torque steer or by fitting a limited slip diff you could eradicate this problem. clutch in my experiance is 1st to slip on lower horse power cars.

  • it is dangerous, he has too much nitrous , you are not allowed to add more than 50% of your cars hap, this car has 100hp, so 75shot, is dangerous, dont recomend

  • @kamich56 mmmmm the 106 gti has 127bhp as stock and this can be higher or lower depending on cam timing and whether ignition timing and fueling has been correctly mapped, now if you are basing it on 50 percent then that would be 63.5 bhp yer.

now if you basing it on 59 percent then 75 bhp would be right yer?

now add iridium plugs and retard the timing by a few degrees and i would argue you are wrong.

  • 0-60 in around 5.7 thats quick m8! im looking at getting a nitrous kit on my motor cant wait :)

  • will do it faster than th@ m8 thats with a 2second pergressive start

  • nice dials man where u get em frm?

  • They are LOCKWOOD white dials m8 check out eBay, but don't be tempted to buy cheaper versions as they look crap. They are easy to install and you don't even have 2 pull the needles off as the centre is big enough to thread over

My car? i dont drive a 106 gti had one in the past but a french car isnt reliable especially running nitrous its a big no no for me, I went for a suzuki baleno GSR instead same power as the gti 120 bhp but being a 1.8 16v it has more torque, power to weight its stripped out getting it down to 885kg japanese reliability im running 55 bhp wet kit, dont have a video yet on nitrous but theres one on my channel doing 0-100 mph without nitrous have a look.

  • so what is a safe amount of hp shot to a 100 hp car?

  • @adamjonathanbell

can your engine handle nos 75bhp? or do i need 2 modifi the engine?

    grtz

  • i fucking love my gti, slightly tuned serving monster cocks to supposedly fast 40.ooo euros cars. love their expression on the next red light

  • @antonyr123 2 get that many ponies from the fiat it must be fitted with a big f**k off turbo which creates a poor throttle response and a large lag, the 106 dont suffer with that being on nos, bhp is simply top end capability its the torque curve which leaves the fiat standing :D he he

  • proud of your car dad! amazed now a year later it goes alot faster! x
