The Food and Drug Administration approved Forest Laboratories, Inc.'s (NYSE:FRX) medicine ceftaroline, reports Bloomberg.

The medicine will be used to treat drug-resistant skin infections and bacterial pneumonia.

Forest Laboratories has a potential upside of 4.9% based on a current price of $33.05 and an average consensus analyst price target of $34.67.

Forest's products are marketed in the United States and eastern Europe.
